The Transtar 6001 Universal primer is a fast drying, easy sanding primer surfacer for application over existing OEM finishes, E-Coat, or primer. With excellent adhesion and filling properties this primer sands to a fine featheredge while providing excellent color hold out in as little as 30 minutes. Simply thin 1:1.5-2 with acetone and you are ready to spray. Size: Gallon Mix ratio is 1:1.5-2 (1 part primer, 1.5 to 2 parts acetone, sold separately) Can apply over OEM E-Coat, OEM finish & old paint work, etching primer, 2K primer. Apply 2-3 medium wet coats, allowing 10-15 minute flash between coats. Sand in 30+ minutes. Not recommended for DTM, plastic, body filler, or fiberglass.
