Your vehicle's paint code is usually found on a sticker inside the driver's door jamb. Look for a label that says “Paint,” “Color,” or “EXT.”
GM vehicles:Code starts with “WA” followed by letters and numbers (e.g. WA8624).
Ford vehicles: Usually 2 letters (e.g. J7, UX).
Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep: Usually 3 characters (e.g. PR4, PBU).
Toyota: Usually 3 characters (e.g. 3R3, 1F7).
