3M 05723 is an 8 in diameter, single-sided white foam compounding pad with a Hookit hook-and-loop attachment, sold as a 2-pack. The convolute foam face conforms to curves and body lines to reduce chatter, holds compound to limit slinging, and is used with 3M rubbing compound to refine and remove grade 1200 and finer sand scratches and swirls on cured, hard, or medium finish paint.
